MEMBERSHIP Q'S

Q: "I signed up for a membership but don't see an activation link in my inbox??"

A: Please check your junk/spam folders or log into your new account directly at paperinapinch.com using the "forgot password" feature.

Q: How Do I print the templates I like?

A: Add to your cart, checkout and head to your inbox for the link to personalize! You can also log directly into your Templett account after checkout to access all of your designs in one place.

Q: How many items can I print each month?

A: Each billing cycle, you may download up to 10 templates of your choice. Once selected, you can print each template as many times as you'd like.

*Seasonal and Annual memberships also include 10 new downloads per month for the duration of your membership. These 10 downloads will renew on the date of your billing cycle (ex: the 2nd of each month if that's when you joined!) even though you are not billed monthly.

Q: Can I purchase templates/designs individually?

A: No. Printables are only available for our Paper In a Pinch members!

Q: Can I customized/change the wording and names on the templates?

A: Yes! You can change these details as well as fonts, font colors, and font sizes. No additional software needed!

Q: Are the items in the library removed and replaced each week/month?

A: No — the library keeps growing. As long as you're a member, you get access to everything you’ve downloaded plus 10 new templates each billing cycle. However, seasonal designs are temporarily removed after the holiday (like Halloween or Christmas) to keep the library easy to browse.

Q: Can I cancel my membership?

A: You can cancel anytime in your account under “Manage Membership.” Please note: Once canceled, you’ll immediately lose access to the digital library, and your current membership rate will not be locked in if you rejoin later.

Q: When will I be billed?

A: Your billing starts on the day you join and renews on that same date each month, quarter or year depending on membership type.

PRINTING Q'S

Q: What products do you recommend for at-home printing?

A: We've linked all of our faves in this amazon storefront!

Q: Where do you recommend printing locally / online?

A: If you’d prefer professional printing, simply download your personalized PDF or PNG from Templett and send it to your local print shop (we love a mom & pop!) or upload it to an online printer like Mpix, Zazzle, Digital Lizard, or Stationery HQ.

Please note: Big box printers (Staples, FedEx, Office Depot) are convenient, but colors may print lighter and quality can vary.

Q: My prints were smaller or larger than they were designed to be. What can I do to fix?!

A: Be sure your printer SCALE settings are at 100%! This should fix the issue.

Q: How do I save paper by printing on one page?

Choose “Save Paper” when downloading in Templett to maximize items per page. You can also adjust “Copies Per Page” in your printer settings.

Q: How do I know where to cut/trim a design?

A: Some designs already have trim marks builtin. If not, toggle "show trim marks" before downloading in Templett. Pro tip: always cut *inside* the black trim marks!

Q: Can I print on 5x7 paper at home for cards?

A: You can print on 5x7 paper if you have a full bleed printer! Adjust your print tray and printer (paper size) settings accordingly.

Q: Can I print on envelopes?

A: Yes! Print them just like paper — simply adjust your tray and print settings.
Use our envelope template to add mailing and return addresses.

PHOTO CARD Q'S

Q: How do I add a photo to a card?

  1. Upload your photo as an “element”

  2. Delete any existing sample photos by clicking “delete” on your keyboard or the trash can icon within Templett.

  3. Navigate to your elements and click on your photo to add it to your template.

  4. Use the arrows to scale up (resize) your photo and place it on the design.

  5. Use the layers tool (up and down arrow icons) to adjust accordingly so that your image is neatly placed behind other design elements such as wreaths and frames.

Q: How do I crop my image within a template?

A: Select image. Click the crop (open square) icon. Resize your image as a square, rectangle oval or circle and then hit “apply crop”

Q: Can I upload photos or text on the back of a design?

A: Yes! You can add as many text boxes, shape elements and photos as you'd like to the front or back of your card design.

Q: Can I swap a horizontal photo for a vertical photo?

A: You can remove existing photos and upload your own photo. You can even change the shape (ex: from square to circle) using the builtin crop feature. Please note: This may alter the original design!
